Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der nachfolgende Beitrag setzt sich mit dem Einfluss von Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) auf das Wesen einer Prüforganisation, hier konkret TÜV Rheinland, im Bereich Mobilität auseinander. TÜV Rheinland sieht in Künstlicher Intelligenz enormes Potenzial für die Tätigkeiten seiner Geschäftsbereiche. Im Bereich Mobilität betrifft dies insbesondere folgende Kerngeschäfte: Periodische Hauptuntersuchung von Kraftfahrzeugen, die neutrale Fahrzeug-Begutachtung im Schadenfall sowie die Erstzulassung von Neufahrzeugen. KI revolutioniert dabei nicht nur Prüf- und Begutachtungsprozesse, die mit Hilfe von Machine Learning Technologien beispielsweise in der Analyse von Schadenbildern effektiver strukturiert werden können. KI kann auch Teil des Prüfgegenstands – des Fahrzeugs – an sich werden. Wenn KI zur Steuerung hoch automatisierter Fahrzeuge eingesetzt wird, muss sie den Nachweis funktionaler Sicherheit erbringen. Wie die Prüfung von KI funktionieren kann und wie KI neue Lösungen in der Schadenbegutachtung ermöglicht, zeigt dieser Beitrag anhand entsprechender Fallbeispiele.
