Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Klimawandel ist die zentrale Herausforderung für die Weltwirtschaft. Die Soziale Marktwirtschaft ist das Ordnungskonzept für eine erfolgreiche Transformation in Richtung Klimaneutralität, da sie wirtschaftliche Leistungsfähigkeit sowie sozialen Zusammenhalt kombiniert. Damit dies funktioniert, müssen die Menschen in der Gesellschaft den Wandel akzeptieren, die Unternehmen Gestaltungskraft durch Investitionen und Innovationen zeigen. Damit dies auch in Deutschland und Europa geschieht, ist bei den politischen Rahmenbedingungen mehr Gestaltungswille nötig, insbesondere beim Bürokratieabbau und der Schaffung eines wettbewerbsfähigen Marktdesigns für Erneuerbare Energien sowie der Förderung des grünen Wasserstoffs und der länderübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit.
