Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag stellt aufbauend auf dem Artikel von Wehe (2017, S. 1205–1233) zu Historie, Zielen, Umfang sowie Rahmenbedingungen der deutschen Beteiligung an internationalen Polizeimissioneninternationalen Polizeimissionen die seitdem erfolgte Fortentwicklung dar. Der Artikel beschreibt den Weg der Länderbeteiligung am deutschen Kontingent der Europäischen Grenz- und Küstenwache (Frontex). Des Weiteren wird der Beschluss des Deutschen Bundestages vom 23. September 2016 im Hinblick auf die neueren Entwicklungen zur finanziellen Entlastung der Länder bei der Entsendung von Beamtinnen und Beamten der Polizeien der Länder in internationale Polizeimissionen und Auslandsverwendungen, die Missionsvorbereitung, die Besetzung von Führungsfunktionen sowie die Gewinnung von Spezialistinnen und Spezialisten beleuchtet. Am Beispiel der Polizei des Landes Nordrhein-WestfalenPolizei des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen erfolgen Ausführungen zu politischen Grundentscheidungen und Regelungen zur Förderung von Auslandsverwendung, für die Abschn. 7 bis 9 zeichnet Achim Raupach verantwortlich.
