Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die gegenwärtig heterogene IT-Landschaft der deutschen Polizeien genügt nicht mehr den Anforderungen an eine moderne Polizeiarbeit. Deshalb verständigten sich die Innenminister des Bundes und der Länder 2016 auf die sogenannte Saarbrücker Agenda, die eine gemeinsame, moderne und einheitliche Informationsarchitektur festlegt. Die weiterhin aktuellen Kernziele lauten: bessere Verfügbarkeit polizeilicher Informationen, höhere Wirtschaftlichkeit und stärkerer Datenschutz. Dafür wurde das gemeinsame Bund-Länder Programm P20 ins Leben gerufen und mit einem Polizei-IT-Fonds eine über mehrere Jahre belastbare finanzielle Planungsgrundlage geschaffen. Die Zielarchitektur soll im Jahr 2030 erreicht werden. Im folgenden Beitrag stellen die Autoren das Programm vor, inklusive Aufbau, Zielen und Vorgehen. Sie beschreiben seinen Mehrwert für die Polizeibeschäftigten und zeigen, welche Veränderungen damit einhergehen.
