Neue Führung in 11 Bausteinen: Eine Studie in der deutschen Polizei

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Führungskräfte und Mitarbeitende werden immer dynamischer mit neuen Herausforderungen konfrontiert. Die Führung im digitalen Zeitalter ist im Umbruch – auch in der Polizei. Ausgehend vom aktuellen Stand der Führungsdiskussion in der deutschen Polizei gibt dieser Beitrag hierzu einen frischen Impuls: Ein repräsentatives Meinungsbild von Geführten und Führenden in der Polizei zu Grundsätzen einer modernen Führung. Elf mögliche Führungsbausteine, abgeleitet aus einer Synopse aktueller Führungsstudien, wurden hierzu in einer viralen Befragungsstudie von 1860 Teilnehmenden bewertet und ergänzt. Aus den Antworten wird die Bedeutung einzelner Bausteine einer modernen Führung deutlich. Es werden darüber hinaus aber auch wichtige Unterschiede zwischen Führungskräften und Mitarbeitenden, Frauen und Männern sowie zwischen den Generationen sichtbar.
