Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Autoren beleuchten die Herausforderungen und Chancen der digitalen Führung im Kontext der Polizeiorganisation. Dabei wird zunächst der Unterschied zwischen Führung und Leitung skizziert, um anschließend die Facetten einer Führung im digitalen Raum zu beleuchten. Insbesondere werden wesentliche Besonderheiten der digitalen Führung innerhalb der Organisation Polizei im Vergleich zu einer Führung in physischer Präsenz diskutiert, wobei auch Stimmen aus einer eigenen Befragung innerhalb einer Polizeibehörde zur Illustration angeführt werden. Anhand praktischer Beispiele werden Vorschläge unterbreitet, wie eine digitale Führung innerhalb der Polizei optimiert und in einem vorwiegend analogen Führungsalltag gewinnbringend integriert werden kann.
