Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die AutorInnen beschreiben die Erfordernisse internationaler Kooperation im Fortbildungsbereich der Polizei. Daraus werden die Notwendigkeiten an die Mitarbeit in der internationalen Leitungs- und Gremienarbeit sowie das Unterstützen von formalen und informalen internationalen Formaten abgeleitet. Danach erfolgt eine Kurzdarstellung von Agenturen der Europäischen Union sowie anderen multi-nationalen Zusammenschlüssen unter Berücksichtigung der jeweiligen Beteiligung durch die DHPol. Schließlich wird beleuchtet, wie die DHPol einer internationalisierten Fortbildung des höheren Polizeivollzugsdienstes Rechnung trägt. Im Schlussteil erfolgen eine Bewertung und ein Blick nach vorn.
