Abstract

Zusammenfassung Vertrauen lässt sich nicht verordnen. Es entsteht als zwischenmenschliches, unbeabsichtigtes Gefühl. In diesem Beitrag wird das Konstrukt des Vertrauens auf expliziter und impliziter Ebene betrachtet. Auch die Messung des Vertrauens ist Thema dieses Aufsatzes. Anhand des Terroranschlags vom 2. November 2020 in der Wiener Innenstadt wird die Kommunikation der Wiener Polizei in sozialen Medien outputorientiert analysiert und empirisch auf vertrauensfördernde Inhalte untersucht. Dabei wird ein eigens entwickeltes Modell der „Sieben Grundrechnungsarten der Vertrauenskommunikation“ angewendet, und zwar im Hinblick auf ihre implizite und explizite Wirkung. Die Kommunikation der Polizei erwies sich dabei als besonders vertrauensauslösend. Die Analyse zeigt aber auch Fallstricke in der Vertrauenskommunikation auf.
