Abstract

Zusammenfassung Als Ergebnis eines Reorganisationsprozesses in Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) kommen Audits als führendes Instrument der anlassunabhängigen Fachaufsicht zum Einsatz. Ausgebildete Auditorinnen und Auditoren sowie vor Ort Handelnde befassen sich in einem transparenten Verfahren mit Optimierungsmöglichkeiten behördlicher Prozesse. Ausgehend von einer Risikoanalyse rücken Auditprogramm und -ankündigung die relevanten Themen frühzeitig in den Blick. Eine gezielte Vorbereitung ist möglich und gewünscht. Die Akteure untersuchen die Umsetzung der für die Polizei NRW maßgeblichen Standards. In einem Dialog „auf Augenhöhe“ erarbeiten und vereinbaren die Beteiligten wiederkehrend Verbesserungsmaßnahmen. Korrekturmaßnahmen sind obligatorisch, sofern bereits bestehende Standards nicht eingehalten werden. Erste Erfahrungen lassen auf eine gute Akzeptanz schließen.
