Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Autor stellt die Rahmenbedingungen und Grundlinien eines Fachhochschulstudiums der beiden Verkehrsfächer VerkehrslehreVerkehrslehre und VerkehrsrechtVerkehrsrecht bei der Polizei in Bund und Ländern dar und ordnet diese in die Gesamtaufgabe der polizeilichen Verkehrssicherheitsarbeit ein. Dabei beleuchtet er die Herausforderungen und Chancen eines polizeieigenen Studiums an internen Fachhochschulen der Innenministerien und stellt diese den Möglichkeiten eines Studiums an einem Fachbereich Polizei einer Verwaltungsfachhochschule gegenüber. Auch die wesentlichen Besonderheiten eines interdisziplinären Studiums sollen deutlich werden, wobei die Chancen einer ernsthaft betriebenen kritischen PolizeiforschungPolizeiforschung ausgelotet werden. Schließlich werden Vorschläge unterbreitet, wie ein Curriculum für die Verkehrsfächer innerhalb des Polizeistudiums optimiert und in eine Gesamtstruktur einer lernenden Polizeiorganisation gewinnbringend integriert werden kann.
