Abstract

Zusammenfassung Unterschiedlichste Organisationen greifen bereits seit Jahren im verstärkten Maß auf die Prozesse der Stabsarbeit zurück. 2020/21 wurde das Thema Stabsarbeit durch Covid-19 und die Hochwasserkatastrophen in Deutschland erneut in den Blickpunkt gerückt. In dem Beitrag wird sich trotz der Notwendigkeit zu einer institutionsübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit auf die Sicht der Polizei beschränkt. Ausgehend von der teilweisen Heterogenität bundesdeutscher polizeilicher Stabsarbeit richtet er sich vor dem Hintergrund der zukünftigen Erfordernisse den Blick auf die Themen Stabsorganisation, Personalauswahl, Aus- und Fortbildung sowie das Lagebild; und endet mit einem Plädoyer für eine verstärkte Öffnung gegenüber Dritten.
