Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ökonomische Aktivitäten sind auf den Input hochwertiger Energieträger angewiesen; diese sind knapp und werden in der fossil-nuklearen Energiewirtschaft aufgrund einer qualitativen Fehlanpassung zwischen Primärenergieeinsatz und Nutzenergiebedarf verschwenderisch genutzt. Daraus resultieren ökologische Probleme, insbesondere der Klimawandel, mit entsprechenden externen Kosten. Ein Umstieg auf erneuerbare Energien und effizientere Nutzungsstrukturen unterliegt diversen Pfadabhängigkeiten und ist aufgrund der multiplen Lernkosten mit hohen Pfadwechselkosten verbunden, die ebenfalls von der Gesellschaft getragen werden müssen. Unterschiedliche politökonomische Interessen der maßgeblichen Staaten verhindern derzeit harmonische weltweite Lösungen. Für eine evolutorische Energieökonomik ergeben sich einige Herausforderungen, insbesondere hinsichtlich der Klärung von sekundären und tertiären Pfadabhängigkeiten, der Erfassung systemischer Wechselwirkungen sowie der Problematik von Interventionsspiralen und der Formulierung von evolutorischen Designregeln für Energie- und Zertifikatemärkte.
