Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Schlagzahl medial gehypter gesellschaftlicher Krisen – zuletzt die Finanzkrise, die Flüchtlingskrise oder die Coronapandemie – bleibt ungebrochen hoch. Deshalb laufen wir im polizeilichen Führungsalltag Gefahr, uns zeitlich befristet zu sehr auf diese zu fokussieren. Echte polizeiliche Kernkompetenzen wie „Bürgerorientierung“ geraten strategisch aus dem Blick. Gleichermaßen befassen sich immer mehr Menschen des 21. Jahrhunderts mit ihrer eigenen Persönlichkeitsentwicklung. Die „Menschlichkeit der Führung“ wird im Vergleich zur Fach- oder Methodenkompetenz von Führungskräften stärker an Bedeutung gewinnen. Fragen zeitgemäßer polizeilicher Mitarbeiter- und Organisationsführung sind von Aspekten individueller Persönlichkeitsentwicklung nicht mehr entkoppelbar.
