Abstract

Zusammenfassung Für Unternehmen ist es nicht nur wichtig, dass in ihnen geführt wird, sondern vor allem, dass in ihnen gut geführt wird. Aber woran bemisst man die Qualität von Führung? Wie viel von dem Ergebnis kann man dem Führungshandeln zuschreiben, wie viel ergibt sich aus äußeren Umständen? Sollte man Führungshandeln eher am Aufwand oder eher am Ergebnis beurteilen? Und ist es überhaupt möglich, die Vielschichtigkeit von Führen in einem summarischen Urteil zusammenzufassen? Weil Führungsqualität für Unternehmen von so überragender Bedeutung ist, sind sie gut darin beraten, diese Führungsqualität zu messen und einzufordern. Es sind Werkzeuge erforderlich, um Führungsqualität systematisch zu messen, mit der Führungskraft zu diskutieren, daraus Konsequenzen abzuleiten und sicherzustellen, dass diese auch eingehalten werden. Wie ist das zu bewerkstelligen?
