Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Konzept eines Arbeitsortes, den man zu vorgegebenen Arbeitszeiten aufsucht, verliert an Bedeutung. Digitales Arbeiten unterwegs und im Home-Office nimmt stark zu. Standardisierte Prozesse und Vorgänge werden an Maschinen delegiert, während von uns Menschen kreatives Denken und unkonventionelle Lösungen gefordert werden. Denn in diesem Bereich sind wir der Technik noch immer überlegen. Nicht zuletzt dank der Fähigkeiten, Ausnahmen zu machen oder eben „out of the box“ zu denken. Doch wo arbeiten wir am besten kreativ? Arbeitet nur, wer im Büro am PC sitzt? Oder auch, wer in der Badewanne oder beim Joggen nachdenkt, wer beobachtet, sich inspirieren lässt, im Kopf konzipiert und innoviert? Welchen Einfluss haben Arbeitsorte und -räume auf unsere Kreativität? Wie können wir dieses Potenzial am besten ausschöpfen? Diesen Fragen spürt dieser Praxisbeitrag nach. Sechs journalistische Kurzinterviews geben einen exemplarischen und persönlichen Einblick in die Arbeitsorte und -räume von Kunst- und Kulturschaffenden und beleuchten deren Einfluss auf den Kreativitätsprozess. Zum Abschluss des Kapitels werden Erkenntnisse abgeleitet, die sich auch auf andere Berufsgruppen adaptieren lassen.
