Abstract

Zusammenfassung Privates Geldvermögen ist ein entscheidendes Instrument zur Erreichung gesellschaftlicher Ziele. Es ist in Deutschland jedoch eher unterentwickelt: Im internationalen Vergleich rangiert Deutschland seit Jahren auf einem enttäuschenden 19. Platz. An den Sparanstrengungen liegt dies sicherlich nicht, in kaum einem anderen Land wird mehr gespart als in Deutschland. Die deutschen Sparer nutzen aber kaum die Kapitalmärkte, entsprechend niedrig sind die Wertsteigerungen im Portfolio – trotz boomender Aktienmärkte. Dies hat auch Folgen für den Konsum, der niedriger ausfällt, da fehlende Rendite durch zusätzliche Ersparnisse aus Erwerbseinkommen kompensiert wird. In den Lockdowns des Pandemie-Jahres 2020 zeichnet sich ein neuerliches Interesse an Kapitalmarktprodukten ab – ob daraus jedoch eine neue Aktienkultur entsteht, darf (noch) bezweifelt werden. Dabei führt an einem geänderten Sparverhalten mit einer stärkeren Risiko- und Renditeorientierung kein Weg vorbei, will Deutschland die anstehende „grüne“ Transformation erfolgreich gestalten.
