Abstract

Zusammenfassung Geltende und zu berücksichtigende Gesetze sind abhängig vom Standort und der Art des Produktes. Im Unterschied zu Normen, sind Gesetze hierarchisch strukturiert und es besteht eine feste Rangfolge. In Europa hat die europäische Legislative eine hohe Bedeutung und entsprechende Prinzipien bilden sogar ein Modell für andere Staatengemeinschaften. Nicht nur deshalb lohnt es sich, einen ausgedehnten Blick auf Europa zu werfen. In diesem Abschnitt werden grundsätzlichen Vorgaben der EU und deren Hintergründe beleuchtet.
