Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wirtschaftsförderung vollzieht sich mittels zahlreicher Organisationen und Akteure auf diversen Ebenen: Europäische Gemeinschaft, Bundesrepublik Deutschland, alle 16 Bundesländer, zahlreiche Regionen und Kommunen sowie teilweise sogar innerkommunale Gewerbe- oder Industriegebiete. Die Vielfalt des bundesdeutschen Föderalismus spiegelt sich auch in der organisatorischen, strukturellen und inhaltlichen Heterogenität der mit Wirtschaftsförderung befassten Organisationen und ihrer Akteure wider. Der vorliegende Beitrag möchte dazu beitragen, die dargestellte Materie zu strukturieren und in einen Gesamtzusammenhang zu bringen. Abschließend wird aufgezeigt, dass sich die Akteursvielfalt nicht nur innerhalb, sondern auch zwischen den Ebenen mit neuen Aufgaben und neuen Herausforderungen immer stärker ausdifferenziert. In Zukunft dürfte dies in der Wirtschaftsförderung häufig zur Bildung strategischer Allianzen führen, um die selbst gesteckten Ziele erreichen zu können.
