Abstract

Zusammenfassung Standorte stehen in einem Wettbewerb, in dem sie immer wieder prüfen müssen, ob ihre Visionen, Leitbilder und Strategien noch zukunftsfähig sind. Dieser Blick in die Zukunft erfolgt im Rahmen von Zukunftsinitiativen – von Standort- oder Visionskonferenzen bis hin zu kontinuierlichen Vorausschau-Prozessen. In dem Beitrag wird zunächst dargestellt, wie sich die verschiedenen Werkzeuge in ein Modell des Zukunftsmanagement einsortieren lassen. Anschließend werden konkrete Ansätze für trendbasierte partizipative Zukunftsinitiativen vorgestellt. Da die isolierte Betrachtung einzelner Trends der Komplexität und Ungewissheit im Umfeld eines Standortes häufig nicht mehr gerecht wird, können die Verantwortlichen Planer oder Entscheider mehrere, denkbare Zukunftsbilder in ihre Überlegungen einbeziehen. Solche szenariogestützten partizipativen Zukunftsinitiativen können auf verschiedene Art aufgebaut werden. Auch hier werden in dem Beitrag verschiedene Praxisbeispiele vorgestellt.
