Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem ausführlichen Kapitel werden die gängigen Theorien und Modelle zum Leadership in einer chronologischen Abfolge und einer thematischen Gliederung in mehrere Theoriengruppen summarisch dargestellt: Eigenschaftstheorien, Verhaltenstheorien, Situationstheorien, Transformationstheorien sowie systemische Theorien. Diese Theorien und Modelle basieren auf einer eingehenden Analyse der in diesem Bereich zu verschiedenen Epochen vorgefundenen Realitäten und modellieren typische Erklärungsansätze, die nicht nur darauf abzielen, zu einem eingehenden Verständnis eines diesbezüglichen Leadershipverhaltens zu gelangen, sondern deren Sinn und Zweck ebenfalls darin besteht, Verhaltensvoraussagen zu tätigen und Handlungsempfehlungen für ein optimales, zielgerichtetes und fundiertes Vorgehen abzuleiten. Zusätzlich zu der Darstellung werden pro Theorie jeweils einige kritische Aspekte erläutert.
