Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die gängigen Leadershipkonzepte, bestehend aus Theorien, Modellen oder Praktiken, sind mit zahlreichen Problemstellungen auf mehreren Ebenen konfrontiert, wie z. B. ein allzu klassisches Wissenschaftsverständnis, eine abstrahierte und reduktionistisch dargestellte Realität, eine rationale Sichtweise nach dem Modell des Homo Oeconomicus, eine Überbetonung der Managementmethoden, eine Erwartungshaltung bezüglich Methoden und Instrumenten als Ready Made, die fehlende epistemologische Grundlage oder auch noch die Überwindung von rational-wissenschaftlichen Ansätzen. Aus diesem Grunde wird in diesem Kapitel darauf hingewiesen, dass es notwendig ist, ein Paradigmenwechsel im Bereich des Leaderships zu vollziehen und das klassische rationalistisch-objektivistische Leadershipparadigma zu überwinden, um es durch ein neues und epistemologisch begründetes Denkmodell zu ersetzen.
