Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ist Führen wirklich so schwierig, dass bei entsprechenden Umfragen unter Mitarbeitern über die Zufriedenheit mit ihren Vorgesetzten so alarmierende Ergebnisse zutage treten? Und wie erklärt sich, dass nahezu alle Chefs sich als gute Chefs sehen? Der Mensch ist ein auf hierarchische Sozialbeziehungen (auch genetisch) eingerichtetes Geschöpf, dessen Eigenart ist, ‚nach oben schön zu tun‘. Folge davon ist, dass die Oberen ein falsch positives Bild Ihrer Akzeptanz entwickeln und zudem ihren Lieblingen eher zuhören als den Kritikastern. Was zu tun ist und wie, um als Chef geachtet und mit Ergebnissen und Wohlergehen Ihrer Mitarbeiter eine zufriedenstellende Bilanz zu schreiben, ist Thema dieses Kapitels.
