Abstract

Zusammenfassung In der Öffentlichkeit werden Grafiken präsentiert, welche die Wellenformen von Infektionen darstellen. Dabei ergeben sich die Formen aus den statistischen Erhebungen, die anzeigen in welcher Anzahl die Infektionen über eine Zeitspanne registriert werden – es sind Häufigkeitsverteilungen, welche Wellenformen annehmen. Dabei ist festzustellen, dass es zwischen einer Influenza-Grippewelle und einer COVID-Welle grundsätzliche Unterschiede gibt.
