Abstract

Zusammenfassung Deutschland hat zu viele, zu kleine und chronisch unterfinanzierte Krankenhäuser. Das System ist nicht sinnvoll reformierbar. Es bedarf eines radikal neuen Ansatzes, der vom Patienten und seinen Bedürfnissen ausgeht. Dabei gilt es, die Chancen der Digitalisierung als Gamechanger zu nutzen. Deutlich weniger, aber bessere Kliniken mit Gesundheitsunternehmen als Träger werden künftig neue und ganzheitliche Versorgungsmodelle wie Capitation anbieten. Statt Sektorengrenzen wird es immer mehr integrierte Behandlungskonzepte geben, die von der Prävention über ambulante und stationäre Therapien bis hin zur Rehabilitation alles aufeinander abstimmen und miteinander verzahnen. Eine neue Kultur des gemeinsamen Lernens wird Prozesse optimieren und die Ergebnisqualität steigern. Auch im Gesundheitswesen wird sich die Plattformökonomie durchsetzen, die den Patienten mündiger und so zum Souverän über die eigene Gesundheit macht.
