Abstract

Zusammenfassung Perspektivwechsel: Wenn Sie in einer Situation nicht wissen, was Sie tun sollen, dann gibt es eine einfache Methode, um zu Antworten zu gelangen: Überlegen Sie, wie Sie die Situation mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit verschlimmern könnten. So kommen Sie schnell zu neuen, hilfreichen Ideen. Meist genügt es, das Gegenteil von dem zu tun, mit dem eine Übernahme garantiert scheitern würde. Dieses Gedankenspiel können Sie wirkungsvoll einsetzen, wenn der Integrationsprozess irgendwo ins Stocken gerät oder Konflikte spürbar werden. Deshalb fasst das letzte Kapitel typische Fehleinschätzungen nach einer US-amerikanischen Übernahme zusammen und stellt ihnen hilfreiche Alternativen gegenüber.
