Abstract

Zusammenfassung Studienreisen werden als Teilsektor des Bildungstourismus betrachtet und werden selten getrennt von diesem diskutiert. Häufig versteht man unter Bildungstouristen eine finanzstarke Gruppe von Menschen, die bereit und in der Lage ist, sich einen Besuch zu Bildungszwecken zu leisten. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass die finanziellen Kriterien die Teilnahme an solchen Programmen bestimmen, während die Quellen oft von Stipendien, Familienunterstützung bis hin zu eigenem Einkommen variieren. Wir haben Piloten für Studienreisen für unsere Studierenden angeboten und ausgewertet, um dieses Angebot dauerhaft sinnvoll und zielgruppengerecht anzubieten, mit einem Fokus auf: Finanziellen Kriterien, Planung von Routen, Ablauf und Kontakten, Unterstützung von Sozialeinrichtungen sowie der Kultur- und Freizeiteinrichtungen vor Ort, Förderung und Entwicklung des Interesses von Studierenden für die kulturellen, sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Aspekte, Stärkung des Selbstwertgefühls und persönlicher Fähigkeiten.
