Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel stellen wir die Herausforderungen bei der Organisation, Planung und Durchführung mehrtägiger internationaler Studienreisen für Management-Studierende dar. Wir erweitern bisherige Untersuchungen auf Grundlage unserer eigenen Erfahrungen mit der Organisation, Planung und Durchführung einer seit 2012 jährlich stattfindenden internationalen Studienreise im Rahmen des Master-Studiums Business Administration (MSc BA) an der Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS). Unsere organisatorische Perspektive ergänzen wir mit den Feedbacks bisheriger Teilnehmenden. Wir bieten spezifische Handlungs- und Gestaltungsempfehlungen, wie internationale Studienreisen durch eine Balance zwischen akademischen Inhalten und praktischen Erfahrungen als effektives Instrument im Rahmen eines Managementstudiums eingesetzt werden können, um die Internationalisierung des Lernens und Lehrens zu fördern. Unser „Leitfaden“ hilft vor allem Dozierenden, die erstmalig eine internationale Studienreise planen. Aber auch erfahrene Organisatoren profitieren durch Impulse für die Feinabstimmung ihrer kommenden Studienreisen.
