Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ende 2019 stellt ein neuartiges Virus die Menschen weltweit vor eine der größten Herausforderungen des 21. Jahrhunderts. Mitte März 2020 werden mit einem bundesweiten Lockdown große Teile der Bevölkerung aus dem öffentlichen Leben nach Hause geschickt. Auch Hochschulen und Bibliotheken schließen. Das Sommersemester 2020 ist in Gefahr und startet bundesweit verspätet zunächst mit mehrheitlich nur digitalen Lehrveranstaltungen. Lehrende und Studierende müssen von heute auf morgen in den virtuellen Raum wechseln. Wie die Umstellung von der Präsenz- auf die Onlinelehre in kurzer Zeit gelingt, welche didaktischen und technischen Herausforderungen damit verbunden sind und welche positiven Auswirkungen die Veränderungen auf die Hochschullehre dauerhaft haben können, soll am Beispiel der IUBH Internationale Hochschule im Dualen Studium erläutert werden.
