Abstract

Zusammenfassung In einer Welt steigender Digitalisierung erhält die praktische Anwendbarkeit von Wissen für Unternehmen und Mitarbeitende eine immer größere Bedeutung. Dies gilt im besonderen Maße für die Informatik-Ausbildung. Schon heute ist es nicht mehr ausreichend, theoretische Grundlagen in Kombination mit Beispielen oder Fallstudien zu vermitteln, sondern die Anwendbarkeit von Wissen im Kontext praktischer Lernszenarien herzustellen. Die Umsetzung stellt Lehrende, speziell im Rahmen der Fernlehre, vor besondere Herausforderungen. Am Beispiel der Einführung in die Programmiersprache Java soll aufgezeigt werden, wie ein projektorientierter Ansatz aussehen kann, in dessen Mittelpunkt die Erstellung eines Anwendungssystems steht. Ein solcher Ansatz lässt sich auch auf andere Fächer übertragen, z. B. Data Science oder Marketing, und überall dort anwenden, wo sich Lerninhalte entlang von Projekten strukturieren lassen und diese idealerweise der Lebenswelt des angestrebten Berufsfeld entsprechen.
