Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Ziel des Real-Life-Business-Case ist die Förderung der Problemlösungskompetenz der Studierenden bei gleichzeitiger Vermittlung spezifischen Fachwissens. Im vorliegenden Fall verfügten die Studierenden bereits über Marketing-Fachwissen aus dem Grundlagenkurs im ersten Semester. Im Fach Tourismusmarketing im vierten Semester ist daher dieser Ansatz der kompetenzorientierten Lehre gut anwendbar. Durch das hier vorgestellte Konzept kann eine Praxisinstitution mit einer konkreten Problemstellung eingebunden werden. Die Studierenden erstellen, begleitet durch das Coaching der Professor*innen, eine Problemlösung, die im Idealfall eine Umsetzungschance hat und somit einen Mehrwert für das Praxisunternehmen darstellt. Eine öffentliche Abschlusspräsentation kombiniert die Prüfungsleistung mit einer möglichen Prämierung durch den „Auftraggeber“, was eine zusätzliche Motivationskraft besitzt.
