Abstract

Zusammenfassung Qualitätsbewusstes sowie schlankes Denken und Handeln sind für alle Unternehmen zentrale Punkte zur langfristigen Sicherung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit, des Unternehmenserfolges und der Sicherung von Arbeitsplätzen (Helmold 2020). Voraussetzung hierzu ist die Kenntnis von Qualitätsmethoden und Qualitätswerkzeugen innerhalb der Lean-Management-Philosophie sowie ihre ständige Anwendung im Sinne der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung. Die folgenden Unterkapitel stellen eine Sammlung von Werkzeugen und Methoden des Lean Managements dar, deren Anwendung sich langjährig in der Praxis bewährt hat (Porsche 2001). Die Anordnung der Qualitäts-methoden und Qualitätswerkzeuge entlang des Produktlebenszyklus und die Zuordnung zu den verschiedenen Phasen des Problemlösungsprozesses mit Zielen und Checklisten sollen dem Leser helfen, die für seine Probleme geeigneten Methoden und Werkzeuge schnell zu finden und wirksam anzuwenden (Porsche 2001; Helmold 2020).
