Abstract

The first step towards improving complex systems is to observe them in order to gain a thorough understanding of the potential effects of changes. In the context of urban mobility this usually entails the study of representative mobility patterns (Pan et al. 2013; Lin et al. 2014; Zhang et al. 2017).
