Abstract

Zusammenfassung Digitale Zwillinge als virtuelle Abbilder physischer Systeme finden zunehmend Anwendung im Entwicklungsprozess sensorbasierter Fahrerassistenzsysteme und autonomer Fahrzeuge. Sie ermöglichen nicht nur eine frühzeitige Verifikation anhand virtueller Prototypen, sondern erlauben gleichzeitig die funktionale Absicherung des entstehenden Gesamtsystems anhand dynamisch simulierter Szenarien. Dies erfordert statistisch gesehen mehr als 6,62 Mrd. gefahrene Kilometer (Wachenfeld and Winner 2015), die hinsichtlich Zeit, Kosten und Testabdeckung allein mit realen Testfahrten nur schwer zu erreichen und für jede Änderung des Systems zu wiederholen sind.
