Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Thema Kunst und Kultur – und hier insbesondere der zeitgenössischen Kunst (Contemporary Art) besitzt einen heute sehr hohen Aufmerksamkeitswert. Im Bereich der Kunst- und Kulturwissenschaften sowie der Kunstgeschichte wird das Thema Kunstmarkt allerdings sehr zwiespältig erfasst. So ist in einer Bezugnahme auf Bourdieu, der bereits zwischen symbolischen Werten unterscheidet, eine Behandlung der Segmente des Kunstmarktes zur Abgrenzung von wissenschaftlichen Bereichen (Wuggenig/Rudolph 2013) bzw.
