Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wohlstand entsteht aus Arbeit, Investition und Unternehmertum. Aber wo Armut herrscht, scheitert der Traum vom Aufstieg allzu oft an der Finanzierung, gerade in den Entwicklungsländern. Kleine Kredite könnten grosse Wirkung haben und eine nachhaltige Entwicklung anstossen. Die Realität der Mikrofinanz ist allerdings weniger beeindruckend und lässt zweifeln, dass es allein mit der Bereitstellung von Krediten getan ist. Vielleicht braucht es vorher mehr Bildung, Unternehmergeist und eine Änderung der Rollenbilder, damit nachher die Mikrofinanz bessere Ergebnisse zeitigen kann? Banerjee, A., E. Duflo, R.
