Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel wird der Stand der Emotionsforschung dargestellt und eine Einordnung der verschiedenen Sichtweisen zur Frage „Was ist Emotion?“ versucht. Dadurch wird erklärt, wieso es so wichtig ist, einen differenzierten Blick auf Gefühle zu haben, um eine angemessene und wirkungsvolle Interventionsstrategie auswählen zu können. Ausgehend von einer Dreiteilung der Emotionsforschung in Feeling-, Motivational- und Appraisal-Theorien schließt sich eine Diskussion von Emotion vor dem Hintergrund der geisteswissenschaftlichen Formatierung an. Bio-Konstruktivismus als Grundlage für die Erklärung, wie Emotion im Menschen entsteht, verdeutlicht den Zusammenhang von biologischen Faktoren und Sozialisierung. Zentrale Aspekte in diesem Prozess wie die Bedeutung von Sprache sowie die soziale Funktion von Emotion werden eingehend diskutiert, sodass die Relevanz von Emotion im agilen Change Management herausgearbeitet werden kann.
