Abstract

Zusammenfassung Komplexität in Entscheidungssituationen stellt Unternehmen vor die Herausforderung, ihre Entscheidungsprozesse zu überdenken. Agile Organisationen reagieren hierauf durch die Verteilung von Entscheidungsmacht außerhalb von Hierarchien. Dieser Beitrag erläutert die Merkmale von komplexen Entscheidungssituationen und leitet daraus die Vorteile von Strukturen der Selbstorganisation ab. Ein Überblick über Entscheidungsprinzipien und -prozesse in agilen Organisationen bildet den theoretischen Rahmen für die Darstellung der Einführung von Entscheidungsprozessen bei der Testbirds GmbH. Beispielhaft begleitet der Beitrag eine Vertriebsmitarbeiterin, die sich einer komplexen Kundenanfrage gegenübersieht, in dem Prozess der Entscheidungsfindung.
