Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wie aus dem vorangegangenen Kulturkapitel ersichtlich wurde, hat sich das Thema urbane Mobilität mit Ausbruch der Coronakrise deutlich verändert. Die Welt ist nahezu zum Stehen gekommen. Ob es generell zu einer Entschleunigung kommen wird, werden die nächsten Monate zu zeigen haben. Kontaktverbote und damit einhergehend leere Innenstädte und Autobahnen haben einen neuen Lebensrhythmus generiert, die Frage ist, ob und wie lange er anhalten wird. Mobilität konnte den Lebensraum eines jeden Einzelnen erweitern und wird demnach als Schnittstelle zur Stadtentwicklung gesehen, die Arbeit, Wohnen und Leben miteinander verbindet. Verändert sich die Mobilität, verändert sich die Stadt mit ihr. Aufgrund der negativen Folgen, die beispielsweise mit dem Verbrennungsmotor einhergehen, verliert das Automobil zunehmend an Bedeutung, und neue nachhaltige Alternativen werden gesucht und gefordert. Die Bandbreite reicht hierbei von Seilbahnen über autonomes Fahren, Elektromobilität, Mikromobilität bis hin zu Angeboten wie Car-, Roller- oder Bikesharing. Nachfolgend wird zu klären sein, welche Einflüsse diese Fortbewegungsmittel auf die Stadt der Zukunft haben werden.
