Abstract

Zusammenfassung Authentisch sein wird oft missverstanden als: so bleiben, wie ich bin. Das würde persönliches Wachstum als Redner erschweren. Dieses Kapitel bietet eine andere Definition von Authentizität. Sie geht davon aus, dass wir einerseits situativ verschiedene Rollen einnehmen und andererseits keine Schauspieler sind. Wir füllen die Rollen also immer mit unserer eigenen Persönlichkeit – mit welcher auch sonst? Je weniger wir uns hinter der professionellen Maske verstecken, desto echter wirken wir. Dann klappt es auch mit dem echten Lächeln und einer organischen Weiterentwicklung zu mehr Wirkung.
