Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Digitalisierung ist nicht die Zukunft, sondern sie befindet sich bereits jetzt in vollen Zügen. Bei Constance Landsberg, der ehemaligen Geschäftsführerin der digitalen Bibliothek Skoobe, ist ein Großteil des Alltags seit langer Zeit digitalisiert. In jungen Jahren digitalisierte sie ihre Mitschriften aus der Schule und heute baut das gesamte Geschäftsmodell von Skoobe auf digitalen Inhalten. Allerdings verfolgt die Digitalisierung keinen Selbstzweck. Nur, was nützlich ist, sollte digitalisiert werden und nicht nur, weil man es kann. Außerdem ist auch der menschliche Aspekt nicht zu unterschätzen. So ist es der Unternehmerin wichtig, dass ihr Team persönlich zusammenarbeitet und nicht ausschließlich in Telearbeit. Nur so wachsen die einzelnen Mitarbeiter zu einem Team zusammen.
