Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die betriebliche Controllingpraxis wird nicht selten von kurzfristig orientierten Fragen des Tagesgeschäfts zu Lasten längerfristiger orientierter Betrachtungen dominiert. Die Einbeziehung des Produktlebenszyklus gehört zu den gelegentlich vernachlässigten Aspekten, obwohl die langfristige Vorteilhaftigkeit einer Leistungsentscheidung grundsätzlich gegeben bzw. bekannt sein sollte. Dazu bedarf es nicht nur über reines „Costing“ hinaus einer Einbeziehung der Erlösseite sondern auch der hier näher untersuchten Modifikation des investitions- und kostenrechnerischen Instrumentariums unter anderem durch Einbeziehung von Vor- und Nachlaufkosten nebst periodenüberschreitender Kalkulation. Beides erweist sich auch unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Geschäftsführerpflichten zur Entscheidung „auf der Grundlage angemessener Information“ als empfehlenswert.
