Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Rollenverständnis des Finanzvorstandes wandelt sich: Der traditionell vor allem unternehmensintern wirkende „Herr der Zahlen“ entwickelt sich in Fragen der strategischen Steuerung zum Sparringspartner des Vorstandsvorsitzenden – und zum Botschafter des Unternehmens gegenüber der Finanzöffentlichkeit. Aufgaben der internen und externen Kommunikation gewinnen damit für den Finanzvorstand an Bedeutung, mit einem Schwerpunkt im Rahmen der Regelkommunikation. Die Investor-Relations-Abteilung übernimmt in der Regel Verantwortung für deren Planung, Durchführung und Evaluation. Zunehmend tritt der Finanzvorstand jedoch auch medial in Erscheinung. Damit wachsen die Anforderungen an dessen kommunikative Kompetenzen.
