Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Digitalisierung ist die neue Globalisierung, da wirtschaftliche Prozesse zunehmend digital stattfinden. Die Errungenschaften der digitalen Gesellschaft kaum noch als innovativ wahrgenommen, wie z. B. Location Based Services mittels Smartphone-App. Die Schlagworte ändern sich, die technischen Möglichkeiten und hieraus resultierenden Herausforderungen nehmen kontinuierlich zu. Aktuell vermischen sich verschiedene IT-Trends wie Industrie 4.0, Big Data, Cloud-Computing und Social Web zum Megatrend Digitalisierung. Der Beitrag versucht eine begriffliche Einordnung und diskutiert die Auswirkungen der Veränderungen auf die Zukunft der Arbeit (Arbeit 4.0).
