Einsatz von Controllinginstrumenten im Hochschulbereich am Beispiel der FH Münster

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Hochschulen sind Organisationen, die sich von Unternehmen v. a. durch unterschiedliche Ziele und weitgehend fehlende Weisungsbefugnisse der Leitungsorgane unterscheiden. Diese Unterschiede haben Einfluss auf die Führung und das Controlling in Hochschulen und müssen sich in den eingesetzten Controllinginstrumenten niederschlagen. Vor diesem Hintergrund wird in dem Beitrag die Academic Scorecard als Instrument zur Verbindung von strategischem und operativem Management an Hochschulen vorgestellt. Mit den Perspektiven „Bildung“, „Forschung“ und „Ressourcen“ wird das Instrument erfolgreich zur strategischen Steuerung der Fachhochschule Münster eingesetzt. Die Jahresplanung, das Management Reporting und das Qualitätsmanagement verbinden die Academic Scorecard wirkungsvoll mit der operativen Ebene.
