Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem und den folgenden Kapiteln berichten wir über die sechziger Jahre in Bonn. Dabei gehen wir nicht streng chronologisch vor. Vielmehr gliedern wir den Stoff nach Themenkreisen. Wir berichten zunächst schwerpunktmäßig über Hirzebruchs Arbeitsgruppe und den Ausbau der Mathematik in Bonn. Seine nationalen und internationalen Aktivitäten kommen im nächsten Kapitel zur Sprache. Einigen Themenkreisen aus diesem Jahrzehnt sind gesonderte Kapitel gewidmet.
