Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Entwicklung Amazons seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 1994 bis zum heutigen Stand war ein langer und steiniger Weg. Ermöglicht wurde Amazons Aufschwung v. a. durch eine sehr klar definierte Unternehmensphilosophie, die aus 15 Hauptprinzipien besteht. Diese Philosophie half Amazon während seiner gesamten 25-jährigen Erfolgsgeschichte, große Herausforderungen zu meisten. Ungeachtet der inneren und äußeren Schwierigkeiten blieb Amazon stets seiner Unternehmensphilosophie treu. Hinter dieser Philosophie, die diese Prinzipien verinnerlichte und Amazon in Sturmzeiten rettete, sowie dem gesamten Unternehmen steht eine Person: Jeff Bezos. In diesem Kapitel erläutern wir, warum auch andere Unternehmen von Amazons Philosophie lernen sollten.
