Abstract

Zusammenfassung „Ihre Blut-Werte sind in Ordnung!“ Diesen Satz hat jeder bestimmt schon mal so oder so ähnlich von seinem Arzt gehört. Doch was heißt das eigentlich genau? In den meisten Fällen bedeutet dies, dass der Arzt die Konzentration von etwa dreißig im Blut vorkommenden Stoffen bzw. Eiweißen bestimmen ließ, diese mit Referenzwerten verglichen und keine Abweichungen festgestellt hat. Hätte der Arzt allerdings Abweichungen festgestellt, wären möglicherweise weitere Tests die Folge gewesen, die mit weiteren Referenzen verglichen worden wären und so weiter. Am Ende dieser Kette könnten dann eine Diagnose und eine Behandlung stehen. Im besten Fall ist die Krankheit dann nach kurzer Zeit geheilt.
