Abstract

Zusammenfassung Seit ihrer Begründung hat sich der Bereich der Komplexitätstheorie in viele interessante Richtungen verzweigt. Diese Arbeit ist fokussiert auf die Betrachtung und Verbindung von Ideen zweier spezieller Bereiche: der parametrisierten diskreten auf der einen Seite und der kontinuierlichen Komplexitätstheorie auf der anderen Seite. Erstgenannte studiert Aufteilungen von Komplexitätsschranken von als „schwer“ eingestuften Problemen in einen „einfachen“ und in einen von Parametern abhängigen „schwierig“ zu lösenden Teil (Stichwort Problemkern).
