Abstract

Zusammenfassung Am Beispiel der negativen Zahlen wird dargestellt, dass sich geometrische Darstellungen für die Repräsentation von algebraischen Inhalten eignen und zu einer tragfähigen Vorstellungsgrundlage beitragen können. Als Grundlage dient die Idee, Zahlen mit Pfeilen und Operationen mit Streckung und Spiegelung zu assoziieren. An Beispielen wird gezeigt, dass die auf diese Weise vermittelten Grundvorstellungen auch für weitere mathematische Inhalte tragen.
