Abstract

Zusammenfassung In dem vorliegenden Artikel werden Winkelvorstellungen von Schülerinnen und Schülern der Sek. I betrachtet. Diskutiert werden Ergebnisse eigener qualitativer Studien zu Grund- und Fehlvorstellungen in den Klassenstufen 5 bis 10. Es zeigt sich, dass Schülerinnen und Schüler sehr heterogene und teilweise vom normativen Verständnis kritisch abweichende Vorstellungen zur Winkelgröße und zu Winkelkonzepten besitzen. Beobachtet wurden Fehler, wie die Identifikation eines Winkels durch Fixierung auf die Winkelmarkierung, oder die Bestimmung der Winkelgröße durch Rückgriff auf den Abstands-Begriff bzw. die Längenmessung. Als Konsequenz daraus ist es einigen der von uns beobachteten Schülerinnen und Schüler nicht möglich, die Bedeutung eines 1° Winkels zu begreifen, sowie ihn mathematisch korrekt zu beschreiben und zu identifizieren. Mit der vorliegenden Arbeit soll ein Beitrag zur didaktischen Fundierung der Winkelbegriffsentwicklung in der Sek. I geleistet werden, um den beobachteten Fehlermustern zu begegnen bzw. sie erst gar nicht entstehen zu lassen.
